The Braves are named as potential landing spot for Bo Bichette
In a recent article by Bleacher Report, the Atlanta Braves are named as a ‘top suitor’ for Bo Bichette.
Atlanta is projected to roll with Ha-Seong Kim as their starting shortstop, but that doesn’t mean they can’t sign Bo Bichette and opt to use him at either second base or designated hitter.

Bichette battled a knee sprain down the stretch of the 2025 season and already plays a poor defensive shortstop.
It took the Braves 137 regular-season games to get a home run from a shortstop, and that’s because they opted to start using Kim at shortstop instead of Nick Allen after picking up Kim off waivers.

Kim also offers defensive versatility, but the Braves may want to keep him at shortstop for his defensive prowess.
The Braves are looking to have an offseason filled with additions because this year proved that they lacked depth in the infield. Signing Bo Bichette will certainly come at a hefty price, but if Atlanta is serious about turning things around in 2026, it will have to strongly consider extending a contract offer to Bo Bichette.
